Tuscany Trail 2024
The whole video was shot on my mobile phone, including photos.
I wanted to take my GoPro camera, but last minute decided not to as my bike was already heavy enough.

This was my first trip longer bikepacking trip and I wouldn`t change much about the set up.
I think the set up depends on your expectations and what is your priority:
- Are you after speed (competition) or comfort?
- do you stay in arib...

Konečně někdo, kdo nejede na gravelu :). Mě to čeká letos, tak se těším. Máte nějaké rady, co nepodcenit?
Tak to sa tam mozno uvidime, letos ideme znova. No je toho vice co nepodcenit -> navigace, jidlo, piti, obleceni, kolo servis, spanie... atd. Ale vyhodou je ze tam su skveli ludia, ktori pomozu ak bude treba a vacsina je civilizace, teda je moznost dokupit ak by bolo treba. Ak mas nejake dalsie dotazy tak daj vediet.

The Varia is rated for 65 lumens in daytime flash mode.. So I add a Lezyne Zecto Max 400 (400 lumens) taillight because I figure in daylight brighter is better. I leave the Garmin light on as well because daytime flashing mode shortens run time only a little. Hopefully there isn't a law there prohibiting more than one taillight? If your laws permit flashing lights, you'll get far longer batter life with flashing than solid. I also clip a small rechargeable red LED light onto the rear of each sock (or bootie). They can be set to various brightnesses and solid or flashing. They go up and down as you pedal, attracting motorists' attention. Amazon sells them, brand Apace. Unlikely to be waterproof, sadly.

I don't like the word awwsum, but it's TRUE
Bought one on Amazon, which shows how little they care about vetting their dealers. Ran the code on the Schneider Kreuznacht website authentication page and was invalid. This was AFTER I had shot with it on a 3 week trip. As far as quality, I noticed it had a warm tint. Made the photos look like crap, and the sky darkened more in one area than others. I think I would have been better off without it!

Hello friend, which device is giving you this HUD from 5:40?
Hi mate, if you are asking how I shot the video / what device I used, I used GoPro 11 camera with the chest mount. I also used remote control that you can see in the middle of my handle bar - mainly to start/stop recording, and turn on/ off the camera, let me know if I answered your question ;)
@@tomashostivice1 almost it😁 sorry, I didn't asked clearly. I'm thinking about all those data on screen (speed/temperature/map) which is paired with the situation on screen. Are you using for it some special device or it's the feature from gopro?
@@Zoorek I see, you mean the telemetry data as overlay. You have options. 1. use data from GoPro -> in this case gopro can return only some data, example it can do speed, but can`t do heart rate... etc. 2. you can use other device (example I use Garmin Edge 1040), and I synced the data from the garmin device with the video. The first option is easier, but less data. I believe that Gopro have already software to pair the data (for paid subscriber on their service). Second option is a bit more complex, but you get more control. Maybe I could create a tutorial on how I added those data there, let me know if it would be helpful.
